The project was carried out over a period of 5 months (September 2024 – January 2025), based on the needs of people with functional diversity and those of the participating rural schools.
In the second phase, 7 sessions were held in 5 rural schools.
As instructors, 4 people with functional diversity participated, delivering the sessions using a game specifically designed for this project. The game involved handling cards with questions of various types (definitions, true or false, image recognition) centered around the theme of the “hórreo” (a traditional Asturian granary).
The following rural schools participated:
In total, more than 200 students participated, exceeding the number of students reached during the previous phase in the last school year.
The results included in the final report highlight that the program has the initially anticipated potential and, with necessary adjustments, could be implemented across all or part of Asturias once the corresponding project is developed.
The gamification of the content was successfully achieved through a card game about the “hórreo,” created by the company «Acuto Xuegos».
The graphic design was carried out by illustrator and graphic designer Goyo Rodríguez.
Audiovisual materials were handled by the agency Menganos Producciones.
